Get involved

It takes a community to hold a house together.

Some of our best support has come from people who simply showed up with a meal, a ride, a skill, or a Saturday. There is room for you here.

Partnership

Three ways an organisation can help

Churches

Adopt a room. Sponsor a resident. Provide meals or household supplies. Organise a volunteer team. Cover transportation. Offer prayer and discipleship support. Host approved classes or workshops. Welcome our women into healthy church community.

Community organisations

Counsellors and mental health providers, medical and dental care, recovery organisations, workforce programs, educational partners, social workers and case managers, legal aid, housing organisations, transportation providers, and food and household resource partners.

Businesses

Give a woman a first job after prison. Sponsor a bed or a specific need. Donate goods, materials, or professional services. Send a volunteer team. Employment is the hinge that everything else turns on.

What the house needs most

  • A reliable ministry vehicle for work shuttles, appointments, court dates, and church
  • Housing repairs, safety upgrades, and the two-bed expansion
  • Beds, dressers, linens, and household furnishings
  • Ongoing operating support: utilities, food, insurance, and supplies
  • Gas cards and bus fare for residents starting new jobs
  • Hygiene products, work clothes, and starter kitchen items
  • Furniture and household essentials for graduates moving into their own place
