Home/Get Help
Get helpAsking is the hard part.
If you are getting out soon, finishing a program, or you just know you cannot do this where you are, reach out. You will talk to a person, not a system. Every situation is different, and we will tell you honestly whether our home is the right fit.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For free, confidential support any time, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 1-800-799-7233 for the National Domestic Violence Hotline. More numbers are on our resources page.
How to apply
These steps are in order. Most women reach us at step one and we take it from there. A family member, chaplain, case manager, probation officer, or recovery program can start it on someone's behalf.
- Send an inquiryUse the form below or call the house. Tell us where you are coming from and roughly when you need housing.
- Talk with us by phoneA short conversation about your situation, what you need, and whether this home is a fit.
- Complete the applicationNo documents are required to arrive. Once you are accepted, we help you get your birth certificate, Social Security card, and a driver’s license or Missouri ID.
- Interview and program-fit assessmentAn in-person or video conversation with house leadership.
- Meet with the directorYou will sit down with the director and sign the commitment agreement and the handbook agreement, so there are no surprises after you arrive.
- Decision and move-inAcceptance, a place on the waiting list, or an honest referral somewhere better suited. Most residents stay more than six months, so beds open at unpredictable times.
Referring someone to us
We work with case managers, probation and parole officers, prison and jail chaplains, recovery programs, churches, and hospital social workers.
Use the same form to start a referral. Tell us the timeline, where she is coming from, and anything about her situation that would affect fit. If we are not the right place, we will say so and point you somewhere better rather than leaving you guessing.
Read the eligibility requirements first: full-time work, four or more months of incarceration or a completed long-term program, and no Suboxone, methadone, or narcotic medications.
